Duties and Responsibilities
Employee is expected to make every effort to optimize his/her sales performance and engage in activity on a daily basis that will facilitate this goal. Required duties are as follows:
• Scheduling appointments and meeting existing customers in order to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers.
• Effective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically on a weekly basis.
• Provide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company products and services while onsite.
• Liaising between the Company and the customers for up-to-date pricing, service, and latest product release launches.
• Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, and cold-calling.
• Continuously updating all prospects on Company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
• Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner.
• Effectively attending conferences and trade shows, where applicable.
• Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
• Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining accurate expense accounts.
• Updating and maintaining customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales.
Reporting daily/weekly agenda to supervisor
• Providing product quotes to customers as needed. Submitting monthly forecasts as per Company protocol.
*Candidate must reside in the Midwest & have prior sales experience within the food processing industry
Duties and Responsibilities
• Work alongside sales team when determining proper machine applications for our customer’s needs.
• Travel to food plants and consult clients on processing techniques, product flow, ingredient usage, equipment functionality as it relates to the product mix, etc.
• Providing training on proper usage of Nu-Meat equipment in the field.
• Educate suppliers and colleagues with respect to new food processing trends/applications.
• Formulate recipes for clients’ various food processing needs.
• Assist salesmen in the implementation of new equipment during commissioning efforts.
• Serve as national meat scientist for any project that calls for such support.
• Perform demonstrations on all equipment within Nu-Meat’s catalog.
• Frequent travel is required.
• Abroad training and acting as client ambassador to European suppliers required.
Duties and Responsibilities
This Project Engineer role will interface with our sales team along with customers on a daily basis: (Location: South Plainfield, NJ)
• Work closely with sales and customers to define project requirements and develop solutions within a team-based environment
• Determine how to integrate our equipment into our customer’s processing lines
• Support engineering activities from the project onset to field implementation at our customer’s facilities
• Train and support our technicians and customers on the operation of our equipment
• Work with purchasing and our suppliers to make sure parts and assemblies are ordered accurately and delivered on time
• Plan and coordinate with vendors to ensure proper equipment configurations
• Generate required documentation including engineering drawings, manuals, and procedures
• Able to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical people
• Travel to customers’ facilities, as required, to complete design layouts and special technical projects
• Experience with mechanical design using AutoCAD software
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience reading and troubleshooting controls and schematics for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
